A look at the aftermath and global ripple effects of the September 10th, 2025 shooting event in the US and where we go from here. (Tarot spread thrown 9/24/25).

A healing approach to help us navigate a very toxic and triggering situation

Before I jump into today’s reading that deals with the aftermath of events that happened during the two September eclipses, I want to take a minute to recap all of the predictions in that eclipse reading that came true already. It was one of the most potent spreads that produced results almost immediately. Truly mind-blowing.

For that reading that was posted just after midnight on Sept. 10, 2025, I looked at what we would see happening publicly and what would be unfolding behind the scenes during the eclipses. I saw a prominent death and funeral that would take place in the public sphere during eclipse season. I had no idea that what I published would come to pass within a mere few hours after posting that spread. Although, I usually post on Fridays at midnight, and I was nudged that week to post several days earlier. Now I know why. And looking back on my other readings, I saw that the funeral card (4 of Swords) showed up in not only that eclipse reading but also in the 2025 Autumn events reading as well that was posted on August 1st.

Of course, the funeral I saw was for Charlie Kirk who was shot on September 10^th midday (several hours after my post went live). This occurred just 3 days after the first September eclipse (Sept. 7), and his memorial that was televised actually took place on the same date as the 2^nd September eclipse on Sept. 21^st. Truly remarkable that this 4 of Swords card turned out to be such a prominent card for the entire month of September. When the cards hit like this it is jaw dropping. Just to remind you, in the 4 of Swords, the man has laid down his sword and is laying on top of a casket in a church. That’s why it is my funeral card.

Also, now that I am looking back at that eclipse reading, the Empress card represented the announcement by the White House (given by Trump, RFK, Jr., and Dr. Oz) declaring that they believe Tylenol is to blame for autism if taken during pregnancy. So, now we know this card that represents women, specifically a pregnant woman, was warning us about their attack on women and their plan to place blame on women for cases of autism. Do you remember once RFK, Jr. got in several months ago that he weirdly predicted that by September he would have an answer to what causes autism? So, this was all planned. They knew who they would blame even then. Let’s be clear – there is absolutely zero evidence for this ludicrous claim. It seems to be another grift like everything else they do. It always comes back to money with these guys.

But their attack on women won’t stop with trying to strip them of pain medication to ease aches and pains during pregnancy. The Empress card came up in that 2^nd row of that eclipse reading where I was looking at things unfolding behind the scenes during the eclipse that we wouldn’t know about until later. We are hearing rumblings that RFK, Jr. is looking at the abortion pill next, and they are making moves to start restricting contraceptives. So, this fight isn’t over.

And of course, the prediction with the King of Wands card that Trump would be extra authoritarian during September came true. He’s never been more unhinged from demanding Jimmy Kimmel be removed from the air and now threatening to sue now that he was put back on by ABC, trying to roll back freedom of speech rights, continuing to threaten GOP lawmakers not to release the Epstein files, pushing for the National Guard to push into Chicago and now Memphis, TN, and embarrassingly waging war on whoever stopped the escalator and his teleprompter from working during his UN speech. Spoiler – it was his own incompetent people. Oh, and demanding that his DOJ prosecute his foes. We recently saw his wish on that front come true when James Comey (former head of the FBI) was indicted on 2 trumped up accounts of lying to Congress. He’s been on a tear this month just like the cards showed he would be.

Now, let’s turn to our topic for today’s reading—the aftermath of the biggest event that occurred during the eclipses that I felt right away was a shifting of the tides—the September 10^th assassination of Charlie Kirk. I am looking at the aftermath of this event and the ripple effect from it in the 1st row, why it happened and why this event is having such a big global impact in the 2nd row, and where do we go from here in the 3rd row.

The decks I used for this spread include the Tarot of the Abyss, Visions in the Liminal Space (sister deck to the Postcards from the Liminal Space that I’ve used in recent spreads), Oracle of Echoes, and a closing oracle card from the Sacred Rebels Oracle. Links for all decks used are listed at the end of this post.

I won’t be using the person’s name who was shot and killed as a result of that shooting in the rest of the reading and I’m not reading on him specifically. I purposefully went into this reading to take a look at this event from a higher perspective. I won’t be discussing the type of person he was or the things he is famous for saying. This is a reading based on how we collectively heal going forward and this is such a toxic topic that I refuse to add to this toxicity. I’ll also be closing off comments if people post anything about him (for or against). This reading is not for that. It does nothing to help the situation. Let’s focus on what we can learn from this event instead.

I put my biases aside as best I could when I pulled cards for this spread. And for the record, I didn’t want to do this reading but was nudged to do so as there is something we need to know or learn from it. So, let’s see how to view this tide turning event from a higher spiritual perspective.

For this first row we have the Ace of Cups, Nine of Pentacles, and the Knight of Wands, reversed for the aftermath of the September 10^th shooting and the ripple effects it will have.

In this Ace of Cups, you can see how much emotion is exploding from the woman’s core (solar plexus) and around her heart chakra and even her throat chakra in the image. This outpouring of emotion was certainly witnessed by many. I saw a lot of grief and anger. But anger is a secondary emotion, and underneath the anger it is usually fear, grief, hurt, or shame/humiliation. This event was definitely a catalyst to pull this emotion out of people who had not been triggered yet by what the rest of us have been during the past 9 months (or the past 10 years if you are like me).

This image is a very active, visceral release of emotion. It is not only pouring out of her but circling over her and dripping back over her. It is very consuming in that way. This is why it has impacted so many because that heart and throat chakra were activated in a way that felt threatening to many. In this revolutionary energy we are entering, these individuals needed to be triggered to get involved. Many of these people had been silent and sitting on the side lines until now. So far, it has mostly been the democrats and liberals that have been triggered and activated by Trump’s 2 terms. But this movement is going to require independents and republicans to participate and transform as well. And it seems this event woke those people up, especially after Trump tried to restrict freedom of speech afterward. I’ve seen so many people on the right call that out including Ted Cruz and Joe Rogan. Their throat chakras are being triggered there! They are fearful of being silenced eventually. And we see in this image that the water almost looks like it has this woman by the throat, which I have never noticed before. That’s really standing out to me for this reading. Always pay attention to where your eye goes in a reading. And notice how firm her grip is on the cup in her right hand. It looks like she’s holding on for dear life as if this water could suffocate her.

This water/emotion feels very wild and unpredictable, and there is no telling where it will lead once unleashed. But it was inevitable that it would be released one day. It HAD to be. Eclipses are known to shake us to our core and to elicit some sort of response from us from sudden, unexpected events that will push us to react. This is why I hate eclipse season. It never fails to leave me unsettled and shaken and usually yelling at my guides. I like to stay as grounded as possible and that seems such an impossible task during eclipses. This is why so many of us feel unmoored once the eclipses strike. It was no coincidence that this event happened at this time. And while it is such a violent way to go, this whole event feels very fated to me. The universe is going to bend over backwards to make sure we all awaken. That I am certain. I don’t make the rules. This is how the universe works and pushes and stretches us. It’s up to us how fast we wake up and advocate for ourselves and claim our power. And the faster we all snap out of the funk we’ve been in and jump into constructive action to help the greater good then hopefully the less often we will require these types of unsettling events that play out so publicly. We sadly just had the assassination of the Minnesota democratic lawmaker and her husband (Melissa and Mark Hortman) and their dog a mere few months ago (June 14th 2025). So, both sides are facing this energy and we can’t ignore it or sweep it all under the rug or it will keep happening.

I’m actually not surprised at all to see this Ace of Cups as the first card in this spread because we all saw the immense emotion pouring out of people the moment it happened. It was as if they couldn’t hold themselves back from sharing their feelings (grief). I forbid myself from opening Facebook for over a week after the first 2 posts from friends I saw. I just couldn’t go down this path again, not after 2016. I’m in the South (the Bible Belt), so I’m surrounded by people with vastly different beliefs than me. I had a sick feeling in my gut and said, “Nope. Not again.” So I pulled back as a defense mechanism, and I’m so glad I did. I knew this was happening for a reason and needed to happen for them to awaken, but I didn’t have to personally experience it again. Many of you reading my posts regularly are like me—already awoken and so far down this path that many of the lessons from this year are NOT for us. When that happens, it is okay for us to pull back and take a break and rest. We can plug back in once things settle again and we wouldn’t have missed a beat because we are already activated and doing what we need to do to bring about this new world. So, don’t beat yourself up when you feel overwhelmed and need to log off. It’s healthy to take breaks. None of us were built to fight 24/7. We must pace ourselves.

BUT if you were triggered by the reaction to this event then that was an opportunity to work through all the trauma and emotions that reaction brought up for you. That’s how we heal and grow through these rough times. I’ve never been more triggered in my life than these past 10 years, which means that is a hell of a lot of healing and growth this past decade—enough to heal lifetimes of karma and unresolved wounds!

Many of those speaking out after this event seemed to feel that this violent act (shooting) was done to shut down their speech as if they also would not be able to speak their mind. So, they took this personally. Even though the rest of us have been saying that Trump was a danger to free speech this whole time, this particular act was one of the only things that scared them the way we have felt shaken before. Their rights to express themselves as they wish suddenly became front and center for them!

As we get further into Pluto in Aquarius, I imagine we are going to see more and more groups of people start to face threats like we have. Some just don’t get it until it impacts them personally. Well, if this event tells us anything, it is that no one is safe from being pulled into this revolution. It seems that Spirit is ready to shake the foundation that we are ALL standing on. Prepare for more events like this to grab people’s attention across the political spectrum. Times are about to get very interesting.

I always say the deck chooses the reading and looking at this version of the Nine of Pentacles (shown below), I can see why this is the deck that I saw in my mind’s eye when I was nudged to do this reading on this topic.

The woman in this image is a wise woman with a sense of peace and calm about her. She is delicately cradling a finch (symbol of joy and happiness) in her hands and almost offering us the bird as a peace offering (at least that’s how I see it). For this card to come out as one of the cards for the aftermath of this event, this tells me that their idea of sowing discord amongst the masses isn’t going to work. There are too many of us wise crones who can see what they are doing, and we want no part of the war they are trying to sell us. No matter how much they stir things up, the people will come together in the end to stop this gross governmental overreach. You can already see their rank and file starting to crack. We even saw their side break into factions and turn on each other within days of this event. No matter how much they want a left versus right war, it’s not going to happen. We are going to end up on the streets in protest together before the end of this.

The guidebook for this card (9 of Pents) says, “This woman has earned the right to be exactly who she chooses to be. Hers is not so much a material wealth but a spiritual one. She is not afraid of what tomorrow will bring.”

The cards are constantly telling us that there is a plan for this awakening to happen on this planet at this time and for us to just breathe, ground, keep the faith that things will be okay and know that this is all for the future we envision for this country. Susan Lynn Psychic Medium said something in one of her videos a few weeks ago and it really resonated with me. And she posted a similar sentiment on her Threads account. She said,

“We can’t get to 2035 with the same government we have in 2025. Almost every part of our government is going to be changed, altered, or touched in some way. And I’m not talking about what is happening now, I’m talking about what happens after he is gone. Yes, indeed, he is burning it all down. That’s because this version of our government isn’t working in a way that meets the future. So, this jerk off showed up to help us tear it all up and burn it all down so that we can build the right version of it.”

That is the same message I got in my America reading way back in March 2025. It is not a coincidence that all of this is happening during the same astrology that brought the French king down during the French revolution when the power shifted to the people.

For the Knight of Wands, reversed, I see this as a knight who isn’t organized enough to go to war and is facing obstacles to charging into war. This knight is usually shown on his horse charging forward, ready for battle, BUT if he is upside down, he won’t be able to cover any ground. Not successfully.

In this version (shown above in the upright position to show you the image details), the knight in the image has a fire elemental spirit in his hand (the spark of fire). In the upright position this could be seen as a creative spark to light a creative passion project, but given this topic and the fact that the card is in reverse here, I see this as the people behind the scenes trying to stoke the flames of war. BUT I don’t see it coming to fruition. This knight can’t go anywhere in the reverse the way I’m reading it. They may work some people up into a tizzy, but overall, it seems that those they work up don’t know where to channel that energy. So, it’s not something that will successfully meet the goals of whoever was behind this.

I threw cards on this shooting personally for myself the night it happened, but I don’t want to get into all the details and add to the fire storm around this. All I will say is that the cards show someone was sacrificed to become a martyr and the story presented around the shooter does not line up at all with what we were told. I don’t know if the truth will ever come out, but I did see that their goal of sowing discord to turn us against each other and to unite MAGA behind Trump would backfire on them. That’s all I feel comfortable revealing.

It’s interesting that 2 figures in cards on the top row are holding things in their hands. The older woman in the 9 of Pents is holding a bird representing peace and the young male in the Knight of Wands card is holding fire. Hmm. We have to work on the issues keeping these young men so angry and volatile. This is a BIG part of the problem that will have to be addressed! This event seemed to be spiritually jolting these young men specifically awake.

This Knight of Wands, reversed, also could suggest that people might act impulsively (doing or saying things that they will later regret) in a knee jerk response to the September 10^th shooting. We’ve already seen this happen but with time, heads will eventually cool and that volatility will fade. We saw immediately that there were people calling for war and revenge that seemed like a grief response to me. Many seemed to be in a state of shock, and many posted out of anger and maybe some fear even. I tuned it all out and just retreated from all social platforms and let it pass without having to engage in that toxic energy. I knew this event was triggering those who needed to awaken and that I was not one of those individuals, so this wasn’t a lesson for me.

I wanted to point out that these two cards were on the bottom of the deck after pulling cards from the Visions in the Liminal Space Oracle and my jaw dropped! I think they say it all.

“No Kings But Us” and “Kneel Before No One” have a revolutionary energy to them both. The No Kings protests are growing, and I wouldn’t be surprised in the least to hear that some former MAGA eventually join those protests with these cards here. Trump is going full authoritarian this time, and his lobbying to get Jimmy Kimmel taken off the air triggered the conservatives because they know that is a line not to cross because it would backfire on them tremendously! Even Joe Rogan is defending bringing Kimmel back and saying it is insane for conservatives to root for that. And luckily, Kimmel IS back already and his ratings are breaking records! So all Trump accomplished was to give Kimmel a MUCH larger audience and pissed off some of his supporters and allies by threatening their own right of expression.

The “Kneel Before No One” card says, “Never accept crumbs. Stand on your feet, hold your head up, look them in the eye and kneel before no one!” And it also says, “As a human being, a member of a community, an interdependent participant of an interconnected web—embrace humility, make amends for harm caused, clean up your side of the street at every opportunity, and don’t be an asshole.”

This message goes with the idea I was picking up with the Ace of Cups, reversed Knight of Wands, and “Let your edges be liquid” card that I discuss later in this reading where I feel we will eventually get to a point where we tone down the rhetoric. Each person will decide this for themselves. I’ve already shifted in how I speak because it just feels so toxic everywhere. I am much more aware of the words I’m using and what I choose to speak on. This isn’t something that will necessarily be policed (although some platforms may go that route), but I’m picking up on each individual making this choice for themselves now that we have seen such a violent consequence of dissenting opinions. I know the tone on the right is much more violent and problematic than on the left, but I feel personally we all can just take a step back and just assess how we are speaking because we all can help tone things down even if we weren’t the ones fanning the flames. Let’s all help this situation rather than adding to the fire wherever we can.

That’s the message for us, but there was also a message for Trump with the “Kneel Before No One card!”

I say that because this card also says, “Pride is a sin, but dignity is a necessity. Pride will cost everything and leave you with nothing! Without dignity, however, you will lose yourself, at which point nothing is worth having.” It reminds me of the phrase “Pride goeth before the fall.” Bullies never win and dictators always fall. And Kimmel just pointed out that he isn’t hard on Trump for no reason, he said it’s because he hates bullies! Amen!

And the “No Kings But Us” card reminds us that WE hold the power. Not kings, not dictators. Us! Period. This card says, “You are it. If you don’t like it, change it. If it’s not there, create it.”

We are going to create a new vision for America, and it seems from this spread that we are going to do it together by uniting with those we once disagreed with. I don’t know how long it will take before it happens, but this energy is already working behind the scenes. I actually have seen this playing out already with lots of people that voted for Trump saying they are not for removing free speech. I see fear in their eyes with that threat. I also see defiance brewing within them.

I keep hearing, “They want a civil war, but what they are going to get is a revolution.” And the cards here reflect that.

The astrology does support revolution as these same placements are the ones that were present during the French revolution when King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette lost their heads when the power shifted to the people. This energy doesn’t have to be so violent, though. You can dethrone a king without violence. In our case, it may happen via 25^th amendment, health issues, or impeachment and removal. Or hell, maybe we pay him to leave.

The “Let your edges be liquid” oracle card from the last row says it is a softening spell that aligns its caster with the flow and fluidity of water. “The effects are like magic and are immediate.” This softening of our edges is exactly the energy I picked up on with that top row. It seems counterintuitive given that the conservative right jumped the gun and called for war against the left before a suspect was even identified and caught and found to be from a right-wing family. But I do think we eventually see things toned down less than it was before. Like we suddenly snap out of a haze and start treating people with more respect. I just keep getting the message that this was done to divide us and start a civil war and that it will backfire and could unite unlikely forces who were once adversaries. I’ll be honest. I personally don’t want to engage with people who caused these 10 years of toxicity and abuse. They voted for it and unleashed all this crap, BUT I will do anything to get Trump out of power. The enemy of my enemy is my friend – period! We don’t have to break bread with these people, but if we need to link arms at a protest and overthrow Trump first, then let’s go.

And even though I don’t want to spend time with these people (because energetically it just brings me down so much), I also have NO desire for a war with them. Nor do I want to see them harmed.

2^nd row - Why this event happened, and why is it having such a global ripple effect?

The Father Time card shows that it was time for a major shake-up and it needed to be something big to shake the ground so powerfully that it would wake up those who still needed to be triggered to wake the F up.

This card says, “The past paves the way of the future as the present holds the keys to its outcome. Only time can bring clarity to mind.”

With the astrology that we have at play now it really does feel like so much of this change that we are experiencing is all about timing—time for transformation, time for major changes, time for progress, time for revolution. I felt the winds of change blow through when this happened. I knew immediately that this would have a global impact. I felt the ripple effects happening instantaneously. And this leads us into the Storm and Fury card. These two are powerfully linked.

Doesn’t this storm card above feel like our day-to-day chaotic environment that we are swept up in? That’s how Trump keeps us distracted and off-kilter.

Storm and Fury says this is due “to a power born of rage—destructive and vengeful in nature, which amplifies the potency of curse magic. A last resort kind of magic. The dying cries of the tortured, discarded, and un-vindicated kind of magic. The planet remembers. The water remembers. The bloodied soil remembers and what grows from it remembers. If Justice is not offered willingly, Storm and Fury will restore it by force.”

This is some card here. This violent event came about because of a built-up rage—a provoked rage in my opinion by an authoritarian wannabe to create havoc so he could rule while we were fighting each other. And it was supposed to be a distraction from the Epstein files by the way. That ploy isn’t going to work.

He has pitted us against one another and then when something like this happens he uses it to further divide us. Only those desperate to grab power or hold onto power have to resort to such measures because they can’t rule otherwise. He can’t stay in power unless he makes us hate each other so much that we can’t think about anything else. He needs us distracted and angry, so we don’t see what he’s really up to.

The “bloodied soil remembering” reference in the card description reminds me of the civil war, and that is an energy Trump and his backers are trying so badly to kick off again. I don’t see civil war happening. The masses just don’t want war. Only those who want to rule us do.

It is a struggle for me not to fight when I get triggered, so I have a reminder on my google calendar weekly that says, “Do not fight. Bring the light!” I have to see this each week to remind me to temper that reactive instinct. It’s not easy breaking old patterns that are so ingrained, especially when there are forces pitting us against each other constantly. I just try to remember not to give them what they want.

But the Justice part of this card description makes me think that we will unite sides to bring about justice. This card shows that justice will NOT be denied and will occur no matter what is done to delay it. Nature and the universe will make sure it happens! Just look at how we are all still calling for the Epstein files to be released. That’s something we agree on. What happens when we start talking with our “enemies” and find out we might have other things in common like wanting better healthcare, childcare, social security coverage, Congressional term limits, etc. The fact that this card comes up between Father Time and Discord on row 2 shows me that discord was the goal, but in actuality it was TIME to burst that bubble that had been building all this time. This event was a catalyst (much like Luigi was too). It’s going to lead to change. It just won’t be the change those in charge thought it would bring about.

This discord card is very expected. No surprise here that it showed up on the row to reveal the reason for this event. It was to sow discord and disharmony for sure! But we don’t have to take the bait because notice it is NOT in the top row for the aftermath and ripple effect coming from the event, it is here in the WHY did this happen. This leads me to think that it ironically brings the different sides together in the end not driving us more apart as unlikely as that sounds. It may take time for that to happen but that is what the cards are showing.

This Discord card comes with this advice - “Do not nurture the seed of discord by adding water to its roots. Rather cut off its sustenance and move on. You will be better off for it.”

Choose not to engage with those you know are looking for a fight. Remove the fuse to the bomb and it can’t explode! We always taught that in anger management class. It takes 2 to argue. Walk away from the person trying to pick a fight and you disarm the situation. It’s that simple.

For this reading, I got the song War. No surprise there either.

This is the energy the Trump administration wants to fuel, BUT the people (mostly) share the same sentiment as these lyrics. I highlighted those that stood out to me with a message for us today that compliments this reading.

It’s very obvious that one of Trump’s strategies to sow discord in this country was to prey on the young men of this country and to make them so angry and so aggrieved that they lashed out in community after community, ripping us apart at the seams. That line stood out to me that said, “War has caused unrest, Within the younger generation. Induction then destruction.”

Also, doesn’t the knight in this Knight of Wands card shown above again look dazed and kind of out of it (it’s in the eyes for me and energy). That struck me when I thought of how young men in America are talking more and more about being lonely, lost, left out, and are turning to drugs, alcohol, and gaming to escape. This knight gave me that checked out/lost vibe, and I thought I’d mention it because I think this is a big reason why Trump gained ground with young men this time around—more so than the first time.

The more they start to see that they were used by Trump, the sooner this spell will break. I’ve seen several “bro podcasters” as people call them break with Trump recently and start to speak out about being used or calling out this administration for infringing upon our rights to free speech and for their deportation strategies including Joe Rogan, Theo Von, and Andrew Schulz.

Even Steve Bannon has criticized the handling of this case centering around this shooting and doubts the texts the FBI released for the shooter were real (I doubt that too. No Gen Z talks like that). Trump is losing control of the narrative quickly! That’s why we see him lashing out more aggressively to try and maintain his power.

3^rd row - How do we move forward? What’s to come?

We got The Empress coupled with “Abundance” and “Let Your Edges Be Liquid”

The Abundance card with the Empress shows a time of abundance is coming (financially, spiritually, and materially). America will be fertile again with these two fertile/abundant cards coming up together. There is hope for what is to come! There is growth symbolized by the flower balancing on the woman’s hand above in the Abundance card and in the basket full of flowers that she is carrying.

She is surrounded by color in a spread that was mostly colorless if you haven’t noticed that yet. The only color we had was the red symbolizing anger in the discord card and now all this beautiful, vibrant color surrounding this lovely woman here. That alone is showing us that what is to come is exciting and full of life!

It’s worth noting here that The Empress is the only major arcana card here in this spread, and she is my card for America. Wow! That says it all. America WILL outlast Trump. It won’t look the same, but it will stand! We will rebuild it—better next time. With all the flowers I’m seeing in this last row, I’m seeing a garden that grows after we prune the dead parts in those cold winter months, so the plants and flowers can blossom and thrive in the spring and summer to come!

The Empress also represents women (who by nature are generally not geared toward violence or war). She’s a maternal figure—a nurturing, loving, peaceful figure. And in this image, she is surrounded by nature, feeling at peace and happy as she walks through the natural world. She couldn’t look more relaxed and in her element. If her mate, the Emperor, had shown up as the only major card, I’d say that war could be on the horizon, but alas, he is not here—thankfully. And our Knight of Wands was reversed without the ability to charge into war. That speaks volumes.

Also, note we have 4 prominent women in this spread, all looking peaceful and not confronting or aggressive. I’m feeling so comforted by this reading with these women showing up so peacefully (but strongly) to calm us! Also, we do have a male father figure here represented by the Father Time card. Interesting that the Emperor card is our father card in the tarot and is absent, but Father Time is here to be that positive male role model and representation. I love that!

The “Let Your Edges Be Liquid” card is telling us to be fluid and flexible and go with the flow. This work that we have ahead of us requires a softening of our sharp, aggressive edges so that we can find compromise and common goals to unite with others over. This will help us get to where we want to get to in the future. We will get there faster by doing it this way.

I closed this reading with an oracle card pull from the Sacred Rebels Oracle. I asked for a card to sum up this whole reading. I pulled the “In the world, not of the world” card. There was some nudity on this card. I did my best to blur it using Canva. Sigh.

This is an interesting card to pull given the topic of this reading and the other messages that have come through because this card says, “Strip back your beliefs, your strongholds, and your mental or emotional security blankets so that you can live with less obstruction than ever before. Conditioned beliefs about money, time, security, consumption, and controlling can be surrendered and allowed to fall away at this time.” This card also talks about a softening regarding rigid beliefs we’ve held up until this point. This goes along with the “Let your edges be liquid” card so nicely.

This card also speaks about an advanced stage of spirituality where we have implicit trust in the plan of the universe and in its flow and that we hold a faith in the ability of time to bend and stretch as needed so that all that needs to occur may be accomplished. We are to surrender our defenses, layer by layer, and allow ourselves to become more vulnerable in the process NOT more rigid. We have outgrown our defenses and our old limiting ideas about productivity, time, control, and money. There is more abundance than we even realize. That goes with the Empress and Abundance oracle card, too.

There’s no need to hide anymore or to feel we need to control everything so minutely. It is actually a time to loosen the strings of our controlling natures. We were born to live in a much freer, less restrictive way, but we have been lied to by those in charge to keep us subservient. Those times are ending, and the power will soon shift to the people.

When we choose to live as we were meant to and not as how we’ve been conditioned to live, we will experience greater joy, freedom, and support. When we are not in a state of resistance, we will experience less resistance in our own lives about the things we desire. This is a time of shedding because those old forms of control were too constricting for us.

I like the example this guidebook uses—We were trying to walk in shoes several sizes too small, and they were starting to pinch and the seams were ripping open. Eventually they will fall apart completely, offering no use to us whatsoever. It’s time! Time to change shoes or in our case governments/leaders. It’s time to push for a system that serves all and that is big enough to serve the masses, not restrict us.

Likewise, at this time, we are being stripped of internal beliefs that are failing us. So, we ourselves are being called to stretch ourselves, not constrict. It’s all about expansion.

“Whether this seems to be your choice or not, make no mistake, it is your own spirit that is bringing this to a head.”

So we are being guided to trust and to let go at all levels—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. After letting go, there comes a temporary emptiness, but really this is just giving us a greater space for fulfillment to come forth. We must clear things out to make space for what is to come. And the Empress and Abundance cards show us the beauty of what awaits us if we put in the work to transform ourselves and the world around us.

I’ll look at the outcome for the United States regarding Trump trying to use the Military and National Guard against American citizens/cities/states. And sometime in the next month or so I want to look at what to expect once Pluto goes direct on October 13th. The astrologers warned us that when Pluto went retrograde at the beginning of the summer that it would appear that the bad guys were winning when in reality they were NOT. More accountability should be expected once Pluto goes direct again, so I want to see what the cards reveal is coming when that happens. Remember, I’m on a schedule of 1 reading every other week from now on to try and manage the symptoms I suffer when reading on these toxic people.

OCTOBER 2025 TAROT CHALLENGE REMINDER

We started my Healing Thru Tarot October 2025 Tarot Challenge on Oct. 1st, but it is not too late to jump on in and join us for this month-long divination challenge.

For this challenge, I created prompts for each of the 31 days in October and linked them to themes of Autumn and Halloween/Samhain to make it festive but also introspective for this magical time of year! Here’s the graphic with all the prompts. You can pin it on Pinterest here

Tarot and/or oracle cards can be used for daily pulls using these prompts. I usually pull 1 tarot and 1 oracle card per prompt to use all my autumn decks!

How you can participate:

You can pull the cards daily just for your own tarot practice. There is no pressure to post your card pulls or messages if you want to keep that private. But by all means, if you want to post what you get every day, it is fun for others to follow along and see what everyone is getting for the day. Most people take a photo of their daily cards pulled and share a brief message about their interpretation of the cards. On platforms like Instagram where hashtags are used, we will use #httoctobertarotchallenge2025 to follow the daily posts that everyone is posting. Feel free to tag me in your card pulls @healingthrutarot on Insta, Threads, and Substack.

If you want to read all my novels, I would suggest reading them in the order I wrote them starting with Book 1 in The Divining Sisters Series – The Call of the Cards. I say that because I think it’s more fun and interesting to discover the past lives as the characters discover them on their awakening journey. But if you aren’t sure if you want to commit to a series, you can read Here There Be Witches on its own. I wrote it to be able to be a stand alone novel for that reason.
