JD Vance's Future - Tarot Reading from Feb. 27, 2025

Where's Vance? Looks like he's MIA!

This reading was originally posted on Threads on 2/27/25 and since moved over to Substack on 3/2/25 to preserve it here.

For this reading, I asked to see J.D. Vance’s future for the next few years and asked the cards to show me if he would be President and if so – how would it go for him. I asked to see the Emperor card (card for the Presidency) if he were to ascend to the Presidency and it’s NOT here! All his cards are showing retreat/being bound up/seclusion, no movement for him at ALL! I’ll explain as I walk you through it.

The center of the spread is the 4 of Swords. This is a card of retreat or retirement. This soldier is exhausted from the battle and has laid his sword down to sleep and rest on a coffin in a church. Doesn’t look like a power card to me! And that’s the center of his next few years. It can also represent illness and needing to recuperate. In the 2 of Cups, we have 2 people in a partnership crossing him as he’s in retreat. This energy may be WHY he’s retreating and seemingly powerless.

If we look closely, one is wearing clothing with red on it and one is wearing blue. Could this represent both the republicans AND democrats? Are they both crossing him together? It’s a little telling that the Hermit is above him, which is another card of solitude and isolation from society. Y’all this man becomes a total recluse. Reminds me of the first few weeks after inauguration when everyone was wondering where Vance was and why Elon was doing interviews with Trump and not him.

A powerful president would NOT get this Hermit card in the sky position. He’s in retreat out of the public eye for some reason! Of note here is that there’s an uprising from citizens in the 5 of Wands card, so there’s discord around him (likely strong opposition). Probably lots of infighting in the GOP, too. The High Priestess at the root of the reading is another solitude card. She’s sitting still in secret, away from the public again.

This could represent his silent partners who have a secret plan like Project 2025 because they are secretive AF and work in the shadows. BUT it doesn’t seem to come to fruition fully here as we will discuss when we get to his outcome cards. Going forward Vance is tied up and bound! He’s restricted in the 8 of Swords, so again NO movement or progress and he’s alone again and blindfolded so he can’t even see his surroundings. Y’all this is weird. This is my prison card too – hmm.

If Justice was here next to the 8 of Swords I would predict prison. Let’s just say that IS on the list of possibilities depending on how things shake out. Trump may take Vance down, too. It may just feel to him like he is in prison, though. It feels like he’s home bound and holed up in his house (4 of Pentacles in the home environment). We do have a benefactor sitting here (King of Pents) in the background. Could be a combo of Peter Thiel and Curtis Yarvin.

Vance is clutching that money in the home environment with the 4 of Pentacles, but again he’s just squatting and not moving forward at all. 4 of Pents is my agoraphobia card for not leaving your house. It’s like he’s in hiding. His obstacle is 7 of Cups (illusion/delusion/confusion) or could be substance abuse! There is a family history of it in his family – opioids I believe. He may turn to it to deal with the stress of whatever has him in retreat.

Also, this 7 of Pents energy often leaves us feeling distracted & not sure where to put our focus because so much is going on. This is honestly how we’ve been feeling with them trying to stun us with everything they are throwing at us, BUT remember this is Vance’s perspective, so he’s the one facing all this madness as his obstacle. We could be turning the tables and making his life chaotic! His advice here is to face his fears and anxiety becaise he’s losing sleep over it (9 of Swords).

This tells me Vance is not doing too well mentally in the future. You can see he is holding his head in his hands here. Whatever he is dealing with is distressing and is such a headache and nightmare for him. He’s very scared actually. His outcome is 7 of Pentacles and 5 of Pentacles. With the 7 of Pents, he is looking at his crop at harvest time, and he is disappointed that it’s not more than he thought it would be. Good news for us!

So, if JD’s and his benefactors’ goal is to implement Project 2025, they will NOT reach that full goal. That’s a relief. They may get some things passed but not the amount they wanted. They fall short and they are bummed about it. And his last card is 5 of Pentacles, which shows he is out in the cold – locked out of the church. He’s injured and destitute. This does not bode well for him. He has a friend here with him, but they are both injured and down and out as they limp away.

In the 5 of pents JD is on crutches here/lost everything here. Now, here’s where things get interesting. The card at the bottom of the deck was the World, which means completion (usually a good card) BUT this card is linked to Biden (King of Cups) & guess WHO – our mysterious Queen of Pentacles! They were right there with the World card and something inside me just said Holy shit!

So, our Queen of Pents showed up in Trump & Elon’s downfall spreads AND Vance’s future spread where he’s looking like he’s in retreat. This lady has POWER! Could be Avril Haines if she does have some election interference evidence to bring to light as some have speculated. It’s something that brings completion to the world! This is big!!!

I pulled an extra card to represent us (Vance’s opposition) to see how we were faring in the future, and we got the 3 of Wands (progress, expansion)!! So, the growing/building energy is on OUR side - not theirs! We are looking at the horizon and enacting our plans, expanding forward. This tells me that we are making progress, and our movement is growing. This could mean MAGA voters start waking up and joining our efforts.

Let’s put it this way, if we were at war, we would be the side preparing to advance, and Vance would be on the side retreating. We have more opportunities available to us. We are the driving force. So, if we look at this spread as a whole, I see NO movement or energy around Vance – just retreat. He’s stuck, still, bound, and in retreat in multiple cards. He has people with money in his corner, but I don’t see where that’s paying off. He’s showing up as distressed, injured and destitute.

No power cards here. He’s not using force against us. We aren’t fearful here. We are actually the only ones with power here because we’re expanding our energy, our vision, and our efforts. It looks like Vance is a dud honestly. Totally falls flat. And he doesn’t seem to be in charge. He could be working in secret w/ the Hermit and High Priestess, but again it doesn’t seem to bring anything meaningful into fruition by the outcome. It just stalls out or fails.

It seems WE have him backed in a corner, unable to gain any traction. The cards aren’t showing a threat to us. And Trump’s not here! He’d show up as the King of Wands if he were here. I don’t see the Presidency (Emperor), Courts (Justice), Congress (Hierophant) here at all. All I see is him hiding while the people are fighting (5 of Wands). He may be unable to make any moves due to public outcry. I’m not even sure he’s in the White House here. His major arcanas were in solitude.

This was interesting! Energetically I’ve always felt he was so flat and a complete dud and the cards are backing that up. I sure hope it’s accurate. His European visit/speech certainly flopped. He was mocked endlessly! As Linda G says he looks like a nothing burger. Fingers crossed! For entertainment purposes only.

Update on 3/2/25: This reading was posted on Threads on 2/27/25 before his ski trip to Vermont where he was run off by protestors after his part in ambushing Zelensky in the oval office. The headlines for those stories all weekend of March 1^st and 2^nd said things like “Vance was met with a cold shoulder in Vermont on ski trip,” or “Vance out in the cold after protesters ran him off.” He had to change his plans and move to an undisclosed location to ski! Haha. I wasn’t expecting my spread saying Vance would be out in the cold and in retreat to be so literal but the cards do have a sense of humor! This is just a taste of the cold reception that Vance will face in the months and years to come! Just had to give you that amazing update!
